Mini Midi Maxi

I love maxi skirts. 

On skinny Eastern European models with skyscraper legs. Unfortunately I am nothing a like, so there had to be some compromises before anything maxi for me.

This skirt from Boutique Esquina Azul was just perfect: not totally long, nor totally short and it's airy hippie-vibe was just the right one to be combined with the ever-so-dear McQueen skull scarf.

Zig Zag

This one-shoulder piece is a revenge dress.

It all started 3 years ago, when I finally found a Missoni dress that I really liked. 

Anyone who knows me knows that I'd die for their zig-zag print and bold colors and have been looking for my own perfect piece for years. But for some reason mine and Margarita's minds have not been thinking alike: everything I like is always on their Children's Collection.

 You know, how it is to find The Dress Of Your Dreams in Net-A-Porter and just before clicking check out you realize that its for 5-year-olds. That is exactly what happened to me, again.

So, as revenge I went and got this very much Missoni copy "inspired" dress from some of the evil Inditex corporate sweat shops. And I like it!

DIY para los Dummies

I'm not much of a DIY gal, but I do not let "damn-there's only-XXL-size-left" let me down. Large tops are excellent dresses ...after a quick visit to the tailor's or with a nice belt.

I totally love this dress from Finnish brand Nanso Lempivaate.

It's just so Scandinavian: simple yet intelligent cut, made from ecological cotton and soo-oo-o comfy to wear.

I might have been construction site worker in previous life. At least I've always felt very comfortable in overalls. When I was young, about a hundred years ago, it was very stylish to wear stone-washed jeans overalls. Now I 'm kinda longing for them again... Meanwhile these jersey ones will have to do.

The One where Leggins Were Not Pants

My eyes! There is nothing worse in the world than leggins with too short top. Except maybe tube tops showing  "invisible" plastic bra straps. As my defense, it was an unexpected emergency laundry day and I only sneaked out to crab some hangover bite at Fisher's. Mercy!

Mis ojos! No hay nada peor que unos leggins con top cortico. O quizá los "invisibles" tirantes plásticos de brasier con un tube top. En mi defensa, estuvo un dia de crisis con ropa sucia y solo fui a matar la hambre de crudas en Fisher's...

I am a firm believer of "Work hard, play hard". So, working 16 hours a day past weeks...months...years....times, I think I'm totally entitled to dress up in over-the-top-pukey-pink-cutesy baby dolls, golden heels and sneak in to Louis Vuitton's during lunch hour. Right?
